Cooking with Grandma!
Today we went to my mom’s house to make some Christmas cookies! I years past we always went to my Grandma’s house to bake for Christmas, but after she died 7 years ago, we didnt continue on with it. However, today we did and it was wonderful (ok at little tiring too, but defiantly fun)! We made 6 different types of cookies, and they are all good! 🙂 Here is what we made this year!
Sugar Cookies
Snowball Cookies
Cinnamon Roll
Double Chocolate Dipped Cookies
Saltine Cracker Toffee
Lemon Glazed Shortbread
Yummy right? We had a great time making all of these. Some were new recipes, some were my grandma’s and some were ones my mom makes every year. It was a mix of the new and the old and it was great!
So the holiday fun continues! I hope you are enjoying the season of traditions and family. I want to send my love and prayers to all the families in Connecticut who were a part of the shooting. I know that they will never be the same, but I pray that they find love, support, and comfort during this time. My heart is with you all and everyone who is grieving during this time. May the peace of the Baby Jesus fill your hearts.
