Rainbow Yarn!!!!
I saw this project at easter time and I really wanted to try it out! So I enlisted the help of my mom and we made some really beautiful rainbow yarn! What we did was we went to Michael’s to get some wool yarn (yes it was such a sacrifice to go to the craft store 😉 ) Then we got some easter egg dye and the kids and dyed the wool! It was a HUGE mess, but alot of fun! Everyone got involved (all my brothers and sister, and my kids). It was a great project, but it is hard for the kids to do. Ours turned out a little lighter then I wanted it too, but it is still so beautiful! We all love it! In fact there has been so many requests for things knitted, that we have to make more! Since my mom is the only good knitter, it will depend on how fast she can knit! 🙂 Here are the pictures of out yarn!

Thanks for stopping by Elizabeth! I have gotten so much inspiration from your amazing blog, and I am honored you stopped by! We had a lot of fun with the yarn, and my mom said that the mitts were really easy! She is making another pair for Pup now! 🙂 Bunny wore them all evening!

Thanks Ginny! I really loved the yarn when I saw it on your blog! It was such a great project and I so glad you shared it! It turned out really well. I was little concerned when I saw that some of the colors had bled into a brownish gray, but it looks really good knitted with the other colors! Wow! It turned out perfect! My mother-in-law crochets and I think I just found the perfect Christmas present for her. I can’t wait until the weather turns a tad bit cooler so we can bear to be outside long enough to dye the yarn!

Hi Stephanie, I was lucky enough to receive a piece of your beautiful bunting in the mail the other day and it is just beautiful.
